This two-part video learning tool and supporting materials cover important insights gained from IASB’s Lighthouse Research Studies on the impact of school boards on student achievement. You’ll learn about the results of the nationally recognized research and consider how they apply to your own board work.  Participants earn 5 Better Boardsmanship credits by completing and returning the certification form to IASB. 

Budgeting Decision Points for School Board Members 
This 22-minute online learning segment is intended to help school board members understand where they can exercise policy level decision-making in the budget process. Participants earn 5 Better Boardsmanship credits by completing and returning the certification form to IASB.
