IASB Summary of Legislation Enacted by the 84th General Assembly (2012 Session)

This summary reports the education-impacting actions of the second Session of the 84th General Assembly.  It details what happened, what didn't happen and frames issues and priorities that are important to Iowa school board members.  We encourage you to share the Legislative Summary with others, including interested board members and staff.   You may make copies of this information, or additional copies can be obtained from the IASB office.  We also encourage you to share this summary with interested citizens in your community.  We send a copy to legislators for their information. You may wish to follow up with your legislator to ask if they would like to talk about how legislative issues impacted your local district.
